FBCLID 7 Weather Update

Currently the Brazos River level is at 33 ft (at Richmond). With the recent rains in the watershed, it is now forecasted to start rising today and crest at almost 44 feet by Sunday into Monday. At the peak elevation, the Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 7 (FBCLID 7) flood gates will be mostly closed, and we will have to start pumping to remove any accumulated rainfall.

There are chances of rain for the rest of this week into most of next week, but no heavy amounts are forecast. For the rest of this week the rainfall will be able to discharge by gravity. As we approach the weekend FBCLID 7operators will be on site to operate our pump station.
