As residents who attended the NTRCA 2022 Annual Meeting were advised, there is an upcoming Board of Directors election to be held on May 7, 2022. The District is divided into five (5) Director precincts, which were determined and drawn by Fort Bend County. Three (3) of the five (5) Director positions are up for election on May 7, 2022: precincts 1, 2, and 5. The Director precinct map can be found on the Board of Directors page on the District website.
If a resident is interested in running for the Board of Directors and wants to verify his or her eligibility for candidacy, please navigate to the Board of Directors page on the District website and review the information regarding elections towards the bottom of the page.
The filing period for candidates is from January 19, 2022 through February 18, 2022. Inquiries and filings should be made via to District’s legal counsel Schwartz, Page & Harding, L.L.P. as set forth on the Notice Regarding Candidate Filing Period, linkable from the Board of Directors page.
