Stormwater conveyance does not flow to a wastewater treatment plant like wastewater does in a municipal utility district, but rather flows directly to rivers, streams, and other waterways that impact local wildlife and ecology.

Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 7's (FBCLID 7) stormwater management consultant, Storm Water Solutions, has put together a new public information campaign outlining "Only Rain Down the Drain!"
